ChrisN - Good set of photos. I particularly love your Barmouth Bridge one.

Charlotte - You really should send your 'Ian with two wheels' photo to Arrivee. It would make a great cover picture and a nice departure from the normal 'person in audax kit onna bike climbing hill/coming round a corner smiling at camera'.

Great pics.

Note the beautiful Welsh tarmac.  It was a real disappointment crossing the border back into Herefordshire and your typical English road surface.

Tad moist, then?

You should have seen it when it was really wet...

I particularly love your Barmouth Bridge one.

I was thinking about bobajobrob as I rode over it - the song that Damon used as a backing track to his PBP build up vid running through my head.

I've done the BCM 8 times, and only once (as a perm on a hot July weekend) have I seen that road without grey clouds and the odd spot of rain :)

I think "Near Beddgelert" is a work of art

Agreed MV. Other than that the hills are too high, Constable could have painted that.

Great pics and considering the conditions you rode in you all look extremely cheerful  :)

Now I really regret not bringing shorts and greeting the first riders with a cry of "Where have you been? I've been back for hours!" :-)

That caught my eye too. I'm obviously too far into this audax lark as  thought it looked great with a Barley strapped to the seatpost. Hopefully my Serotta will be modelling the exact same so-wrong-its-right Barley look for a week in July

The Storck belongs to Tiggers Taxi, that'll be Tigger on the Barley.

I'm disappointed to see Teethgrinder on a bike weighing less than 150lb.  He must have wanted an easy ride before LEL.

He's a bit of an Iddu-a-like as well.  Iddu has weirder taste in hats though.

LOL at the ancient Team Z jersey and gilet in the background.  I love it when a stereotype comes together.
