over-the-counter homeopathic anti-depressant?

If it was homeopathic it wouldn't have any measurable content of active ingredient anyway.

Yes.  And was a professional athlete, with professional people around to advise him.  If they didn't, then that's to their shame, too.  If he thought he could just take any OTC medication without checking, he's an idiot.  No - an Idiot of the first water.  Doubly so for believing in homoeopathy, but that's a different discussion.

Besides, there are very many effective treatments for depression which do not involve medication.  Had he required any, it could have been prescribed by a doctor.

I agree he's an idiot but the length of the ban seems harsh compared to that handed out to others.
