Vini Fantini directeur sportif Luca Scinto confirmed the news of Di Luca's positive for EPO to Cyclingnews."It's true," Scinto said in a quiet, sad voice. "He's mad, he's a cretino, he needs treatment. There's nothing else to say. We gave him a second chance and the sponsors put their faith in him and this is how he pays us back. It's crazy that a rider thinks they can get away with it like that."
* Oaky , directeur sportif of the "Flatland Hillclimb Specialists" in the Fantasy Giro d'Italia, waves fist in Di Luca's general direction.

What odds are you giving?
What a surprise....now they just have to catch his stage winning team mate too.
What's the betting on Nibali being found to still be doping?
Also, seems there's an new methodology for EPO testing (these last positives have come from a lab in Koln, not the usual Lausanne, or wherever). Good to hear the testers are staying ahead of the game.
There will be some more bad news from the Giro tests.

Not EPO this time, but heptaminol.http://www.lequipe.fr/Cyclisme-sur-route/Actualites/Sylvain-georges-licencie/377809Bloody idiot. Also very disappointed in Vincent Lavenu after Houanard last year. He professes to be anti-doping but seems to have no control over his riders.
