Stella is not very popular, is she? (She's our households favourite).
Liz was really bitching..I mean, what does she expect in the boardroom?. Both her and Laura ganged up on her, focusing on what was essentially Laura's mistake.

The boys were cringe-worthy, but it worked....somehow..I really wanted Stuart gone, but this task was made for him and even if they'd lost, it would have been Jamie who would have been fired.

Stella is not very popular in the house. My husband and I love her though. Thats the first time I have considered Liz as being rather unpleasant. And you are right, Liz should get expected to get critiqued on her performance in the boardroom as Stella qute rightly pointed out.

I think it might be Joanna going next week...

Oh, that task is annoying!! Tell me, in a business scenario, which of the following would be a better result:

(a) We finished our project, and came in slightly over budget, but everything is ready.

(b) The project is only 3 quarters done, but - hey! - we're under budget!

I reckon that calling Stella 'corporate' as an insult is just another was of saying that she is too professional to work for Lord Sugar. He clearly prefers people who will make up bollocks about their ailing granny to get a good deal, and would be perfectly happy selling shonky knocked-off stereos out of a three-wheeled van so long as they got a 'good deal' on them. In his heart he's really still working on that market stall flogging discount carrots.

For an IT project. Release with known bugs (ie unfinished) but under budget and on time is better than release with no known bugs but over budget.

He who pays the piper..

My first prediction: Stella and Stuart as finalists. Stuart will win.
My second prediction is that my first prediction is wrong.

I pray for Baggs to survive until the interview stage, where he will get mauled.

The final show is always a total anticlimax though, and not really worth watching because there's no clear winner (in monetary terms) and Lordsugar always picks the duffer of the pair anyway.

But for a publication? Print with last two chapters missing? Don't think so! And doesn't LordSirSugar sell houses these days? I want them to have put the roof on, please, even if it means the price has gone up a bit....Obviously I don't have a 'business brain'  ::-) :)

Looks like a good (i.e. buttock-clenchingly embarrassing) one tonight.  The Baggs must survive for his ritual humiliation next week.

This is wonderfully, painfully, horrible.

Baggs has had his odiousness dial turned up to 11 and Jamie makes The Tour Guide from "Absolutely" look competent.

Now Baggs is actually trying to pick a fist fight...

Baggsism of the week - "I'm not a one trick pony, I'm not a two trick pony, I have a full field of ponies."

Lordsugar: "One day you're going to look back on this and cringe."

We have a girl very much like Liz at work.  She was generally referred to as "PMB", whiuch was eventually explained to me as "Project Manager Barbie".

I was sorry to see Liz go.

But it means that Stuart "The Brand" Baggs is through to the interview stage...

...and I understand that he gets dropped right in the shite next week.  :demon:

Look back at it and cringe?  No, Baggs will one day look back at his comments about his multi-million pound yo-yo empire, point at Sugar, do a "bbbzzzzzzzzzzz" noise, and make a reeling in a large fish mime, capping it off by calling Sugar a plonker.

Best bit of selling a load of old tat that the show has ever seen.

Sugar, however, ought to look back and cringe.

I've a feeling that the interviews are even going to make Lee McQueen look good!

Oh deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeearie me! Baggs so should have gone this week but LordSirSugar has kept him in for the comedy value. He's such a sucker for an 'I did it my way all on my own' story-telling session, even though it's almost guarenteed to be a load of, well, pony.

However Baggs the Brand should be FANTASTICLY cringy in the interviews.

So who is it who is being told in the trailer for next week: 'You're not a big fish. You're not even a fish' Gotta be the Baggs surely? Priceless!!!

We figured out that if Liz had have said, 'A pony, Stuart? That's fifty quid isn't it? You're promising LordSirSugar a couple of ponies when I've already made him 100 grand!' she'd have stayed.

Liz was rather poor at articulating on the fly - she was quite poor in the Boardroom this  time. Also she tried too hard with the make-up.
