Where the hell is this? That's one of the worst mis-translations I've seen!

Made a nice change from seeing signs telling cyclists where to go…

Sadly cameras are prohibited at my workplace, but we have a whole set of height barriers over the roads marked with a maximum height of 5.3340m

There's a height sign on one of our rounds marked as "2250mm"...

A road in the city centre in York has been closed on one side due to roadworks with metal link fencing, and turned into a one way street, with a diversion for traffic going the other way. There are a number of small driveways and carpark exits opening onto the street, so they've put up signs on the metal fencing opposite each exit to indicate that it's now one way.

I can't help thinking that an arrow would help....

Copper: Excuse me sir, do you know this is a one way street?

But, that's three innit?

Do most people in that part of the world have three hands each?

Strange. Can't see the image on YACF, but right-click and open in a new window and I can see it.

Your job is to specify a system for display of information in possibly the most visible part of the Olympic park, by the entrance through Westfield in Stratford. Reliability has to be very high on the list of specification. So, obviously, you go for a system based on Windoze....

Map sign, this, and it takes a bit of explaining.  Sign first:

Then legend:

So it says you aren't permitted to cycle from Roehampton Gate to Kingston Gate, nor Robin Hood Gate to the junction near Spankers Wood.

Really? :o ???

EDIT: Link corrected

It's OK, the same kind of system has been used up in Liverpool...
