Decades ago when I joined the youth group, one of the older girls was driving. Her mini used to have a box labelled "Keep Herbie from starvation fund". May not have been Herbie - can't remember the car's name now - but similar idea to that one.

No picture but I shall describe it.

There is a very steep hill from the A64 at the top of Whitwell down to Kirkham Abbey. It's a C road/ I lived here for 17 years and every winter its almost impassable when it gets snowy or very icy as water flows across it in a several places and its in the shade of tress until late in the morning. Never in living memory has there been a warning.
A couple of weeks ago now winters over the council have come out and placed a temporary ice and snow warning sign at the top and bottom .....
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

I think it's referring to that pipe.
Probably "Please Suck"

Not a sign so much, as packaging...

So, that chess set contains.... a chess set. Gosh.

Come to think of it though, it doesn't actually mention a board....

No pictures allowed at work, sadly, but it was a good one.

Question of the Week:

Is Cameroon part of the EU?

And if not, why not? ;D

It marks the line of an underground water pipe. It is not related to the ditch, just adjacent to it.
