I wonder whether there is an F on the door or not.

Apparently, but I don't think he's in the window.

Rather crass, slapping the name along the side like that.  The original F.S.was much more discreet.

Was painting the front of the train in UKIP's colours a deliberate act?

The roundabout about which this sign warns http://goo.gl/maps/hIgQT was replaced by the traffic lights in the background.
In 2000.

Which way to Santa Ana?

They laughed when I said I was going to be a stand-up comedian. They're not laughing now.

That's silly, they forgot the NCN numbers.

Indeed.  Notorious for these sort of feats of informative signage:

The metal signs are usually fitted by County council Highways dept. The stickers will have been done by a Sustrans volunteer.

In Ely we had to alter the Council NCN 11 signage as it directed you round in circles.  ::-)

They also produced Ely Cyclemaps with the route of NCN 11 incorrect - the county cycling officer had marked it where he thought it went rather than check the paperwork for the agreed route, or actually follow the signs.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...

Literal translation: 'Buy one shoe, get 50% off the second'.  So, a pair at 75% of the usual price? Methinks they meant to say something else.
They laughed when I said I was going to be a stand-up comedian. They're not laughing now.

Walked (well I was pushed actually) on the pavement past a nursing home yesterday.

Security lights came on and electronic voice warned us "Warning, you being recorded on security cameras."

Helly it's high time one of the superbrains on this forum invented a hover chair for you.  It'd solve so many issues.

I don't think my friends could levitate here http://goo.gl/maps/HqvEs though.

We meet at the Tally Ho http://goo.gl/maps/fYJKL for a curry or other Wetherspoon's food,
amble towards the Trinity Church Centre fhttp://goo.gl/maps/F1dwN
for our Proper Meeting, then descend on Chix Chox http://goo.gl/maps/EYpNA for coffee ± more food.

Shame I don't like the shocking pink cerise!

I have a yellow T-shaped shirt from a few years back, as modelled by Ian.
