E Brevet and iOS 17.3.1

Apple have just released version 17.3.1 of iOS, and a couple of users who have newly installed the app have reported that, when entering their e-mail address, and pressing the "." character, the app hangs. This behaviour seems to be specific to that iOS version, and isn't seen on Android.

The work-around is to disable Auto-correct and Auto-capitilisation temporarily (settings / keyboard), save your e-mail and then you can turn them back on. We will raise this with Apple, but I suspect they'll tell us to do an upgrade! - which we'll look into but it may take a little while.

Just to prepare you for the inevitable, getting any response whatsoever from Apple is almost unheard of. Critical bugs raised by big name developers are routinely ignored and then quietly closed unfixed 3 years later.
