 That's the most direct route isn't it? ;)

Glad you said that. I've been looking at a route that incorporates Grace's Walk or Hurrells Lane as per bobb's MTB Danbury ride last week. Zat ok?

 Looking forward to those 3 Elms pork scratchings, if my teeth are up to it.

JohnT -  glad you can make it too, you can go via the Viper on your way :demon:.

OK, good point....we aim to rendezvous at our chosen venue around 9pm, but its subject to variation. I and occasionally other Dunmovians leave at 7:30 and generally do about 20-25 miles in a round-about way, depending on who is out and who feels like upping the pace! No names.

Some stay for a quick pint, others make it into a bit of a session. Again, no names ;).

For the Witham contingent, how about 7:30 by the Jack and Jenny?  Don't think I can set off any earlier since I've got to be in That London during the day.

I've just posted this on the Christmas Do thread too btw, but I'm inviting nominations for the '2011 MEMWNS of the Year' trophy, as lovingly crafted by Chief. It has had pride of place on our mantlepiece for the last year, but its time to hand it on to a deserving recipent. This will take place during the Christmas meal at the Jalsa Ghar.

Pm/email me your suggestions and reasons [if any!]. The benevolent dictatorship has decided that the current holder gets to choose who to honour.

Yep, might have a quick spin before hand. Hugs, from what time might you be free?

I'll be WFH so should be available anytime after 6ish for an earlier gratuitous start if you really want to work up a thirst.

However, as I will still be restrictied to the summer 23mm tyres (until 1st Nov) I'll pass on any silly off-roading - tried that once and Claud Blanc complained bitterly  ::-)

Huggy, how about we meet at the roundabout at 6:30?  We can go for a leg stretch before meeting Oaky.

Can't make up my mind whether to ride over Witham way to meet you lot, do a little ride around here first or just go straight to the pub. It all depends on:

a. How wet it is.

b. How much I can be arsed.

I might wear my fake denim Rainlegs.

If you wanna join the Witham peleton you can meet me and Huggy at 6:30 at my place or at the J&J an hour later when we hook up with His Oakyness.

Right, now it's stopped raining, I'm doing it! I am defrosting a curry to eat now and then I'll make my way over to Witham. I'll be at yours just before 18:30 hours I would imagine, so have the kettle on  :P

There was a very bright rainbow, heralding the last of today's showers, landing in the field behind my house a few minutes ago, unfortunately I was on a conference call so I couldn't go out to find the pot of gold.  ::-)
Said rainbow has now gone and the field is flooded in sunshine   (at least for the moment)
