In JJ's group picture DL looks like an underage drinker who has snuck into the corner and is really excited to be out with the adults.
That's normal isn't it?

Nice to see it captured on film though.

It's particularly good when he comes out on his Brompton and it looks like we have a child with us.

He enjoys it too when he accelerates past us and others on his little wheels so it's win win.

You're a fine one to talk after your picture at Rowhedge - straight out of the asylum  ::-)

Surprisingly enjoyable - mechanical tiagra I thought I would be slumming it coming from Ultegra DI2, but the only complaint I have is the brake hoods and huge and the cable comes out the side, other than that, the bike it self is going great.

Not done huge miles on it yet, 80miles on the clock in the first week, two rides of about 30 being the longest, but considering up to a 100km tomorrow to see how the comfort is now I have flipped the stem up.

Big tyres are a plus, some of the roads we were on Wednesday it coped with better than the 25mm on the Rose does.

Joergen

Excellent....I should have mine finished up tonight so will take it out on the Flitch 200 tomorrow if it all works....I've left quite a  large stack of spacers under the stem for now to give me the chance to dial in the position, cutting the 3cm off that I did was making me shiver already!

Looking forward to trying out some bigger tyres at lower pressures to see how they go, what tyres are you running? 28 or 32?

I can recommend using 28's - I've run 28c Conti GP4000 IIs at about 90-95psi all year quite happily.
I have a pair of Conti Gatorskin 32c not doing very much if you'd like to try them.  Can bring them with me to GD tomorrow when I come over to help.

The ones that came with it, Continental Cyclocross Speed, 700×35c.  I think they are at 80 psi - I've not bothered to pump or check since I got it lol - think I might check before tomorrows ride though :)

Chaps, shall we ride up to Henny next Wednesday?  Obviously some of the PBP gang will already left.

Works for me OD shall I look at putting a route together?
Smashing, crack on. I don't have access to all the necessary diaries but I think I'm around. Let's assume I am.

Did we get as far as a route for Wednesday evening?
