Manual water pump

I'm toying with idea of some kind of hand pump and stand pipe in the greenhouse to provide water from rain butts for watering cans etc.
I cant find anything on line with a suitable pump or suggestions. Lots of electric submersible butt pumps but nothing manual.
There are the ones you get for oil drums but they are designed to be mounted on the drum itself and I want the pump at the dispensing end not on the butt and most of them say not to be used with water anyway.

Any ideas ?

Is your butt high enough to use a siphon system? Start with one of the hand squeezed pumps for siphoning petrol, something like:

Combine with a plastic stopcock at the output end. Open the stopcock, use the pump to prime the siphon, fill the watering can, close the stopcock. The siphon will remain primed for some time (hours? days?) allowing you to simply open the stopcock when you want more water. If left for a long enough you need to prime the siphon again.

Now there's an idea. Hadn't thought of a siphon. The butt tap is probably only about a metre and half lower than where I would want to output to be in the greenhouse and a max of a couple of metres horizontal distance. When the butts are full probably wouldn't even need the syphon.

Would a bilge pump work? This looks too good to be true, but Machine Mart aren't a fly-by-night organisation. It could be end of line, and it looks like it's only in one store.

However, a semi-rotary pump would be quite effective.

I just bought this for shifting some petrol from one tank to another (as our intial pump managed 1.5L of the 60L we intended to move).

If we manage to move what we want with one of the pumps I'm happy to post you the other one and a couple of the hose clamps. All you'd need is some hose then.
