My greenhouses (3) were all obtained second hand from freecycle or from acquaintances. They are aluminium and similar in design, although vary in size.

Purchasing replacement glass is expensive - about £5.50 for a 2' square sheet.

If you are not able to get to the greenhouse every morning, consider an automatic vent.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...

My greenhouse was a freebie from the father in law's neighbour.

I think it's broken cos nuffink grows (other than my solitary tomato).

Ask around and see if anyone has one going for a song. Put up a notice and you may get lucky. I could have got one recently for £40. Of course if you are buying from new (obviously much more expensive) I would go for a wooden one with toughened glass. Be prepared to spend a lot of time with it though. Ideally you need to be able to visit in the morning to open things up and in the evening to close things down, not to mention the watering.
For these reasons I wouldn't have a greenhouse on the allotment, but have one at home.

I hope you're right.

I've just put two bikes out there in the hope that I get a few new baby ones appearing.
