It's all jiberjaber's fault, but here it is, a trip from Durham to Barnie to see the wonderful display of bluebells, and to test your eyesight.

Plenty of off-road so I'd say fetch your gravel bikes, but if you were to bring a road bike only the Salter's Gate track out of Wolsingham is especially rough, so what do I know. It's mostly lanes and old railway lines, though I'd be happy to suggest more adventurous alternatives...

Loads of parking at Broompark, or it's not far from the station, and you may consider the schlep up Redhills a warm-up for the ride.
