Hey you lot. My new job. The one I started a couple of weeks ago. I'm loving it so far! It's not easy and I've certainly made some mistakes but I'm not dreading going to bed every night because of work the next day.

And my coworkers are friendly. And I'm learning new skills. And and and.

I'm so happy right now  8)

If your boss is like my old boss, he will have a liquid lunch onna Friday. Which means he would maybe roll into the office at about 7PM to sleep it off before heading home. So I hope the best for you :)

Cheers Woollypigs, but I'm safe. He has Things To Do this afternoon and then a long drive home to Wiltshire.

And we can go for a bike ride, too, while you're here.

It's going to be a week in Andalusia, with Riviera Travel.  I've done this tour before and have been dying to go back.  Plan is to go late September / early October.

Certainly never seen cycling south of Sussex

After pondering about it for a while, I've decided to take up my guaranteed place for LEL17. In further good news, I've still got more than 2 years to break the news to the other half that I'm doing LEL again

My Miami J collar came off yesterday after 8 weeks of eating, sleeping and showering in the bloody thing. I now have to work out how my neck works again but the fractures are healed and I am one step closer to getting my life back to normal!

Two years are long enough to buy a tandem and make your other half fit enough for LEL  ;)

Good luck with that, I hope it all (well, the good bits anyway) comes back quickly.
