My mate Kev got a call inviting him to Manchester for the Track World Cup. He's riding man 1 in the team sprint for the SiS (treads.com) trade team. Go Kev!

No.  Inappropriate labelling is part of Sauron's evil agenda.

That reminds me... Recently, in connection with something else completely and in order to prove the axiom that there is an internet forum for everything, I did a search for a walking stick forum. And do you know what? There isn't one!  :o  :o  :o

Zimmer Frame Gamers - Home - Clan website   might suit you.

I don't think it's quite what I had in mind. There's a lower age limit of 16.

Lovely! I see they even have carbon fibre!  :o There doesn't seem to be any titanium though.  ::-)

But it's not quite a forum, is it? I mean there's no chat on there about the lovely sooty goodness of your new pedestrian self-propulsion appliance.

My friend Lydia has just rebranded her Silversaurus website as Lydia Niziblian jewellery and I have just won one of her pebble heart pendants.*squee* Her stuff is gorgeous. I have 2 of her necklaces, and £75 gift vouchers from my birthday waiting to be spent.

This is what I have won

I remember an old flatmate in Bath talking admiringly of the city's architecture and historical features, such as its knob ends.

That's the decorative designs of metal bollards. Apparently.

Having been unemployed from May - December 2010, and at the last gasp of my finances got a short term contract (albeit 65 miles from home) which is due to end mid-march, I attended an interview on Wednesday, and today have been told I would be welcome there in a fortnight - only 14 miles form home, on a better rate, and for at least a year. Result.
