Watched this on MOTD2.  Fantastic !

Also, about the most exciting 15 minutes of any match this seasons, the 2-2 Scotland England game.
I was worn out after that.

Preceded by a predictably dour 75 minutes though.
Some people say I'm self-obsessed but that's enough about them.

Here's an unfortunate truth for England fans.

The U-20 World Cup winners will, most likely, play minor roles in the English Premier League (if they get any games at all).

The senior squad are brought in from sides full, almost exclusively, of foreign talent.  That means their lack of technical ability is hidden by their colleagues' ability to make up for it.

Put 10 of these basically average players on the same pitch and you have an basically average side (remind me how many English players are headhunted by Madrid and Barcelona).
We couldn't beat Scotland in a qualifier and Scotland are even worse than England.

We're average.  I know it's not much of a slogan for your banner but it's true and the problem starts with our 8 year olds, frantically chasing a ball around a big pitch too big for them to develop any worthwhile skills.
