I just took my Look Keo pedals into the LBS for axle replacement because of the recall, also to purchase a replacement frame pump and saddle that were damaged when I had my recent Fixie vs 4x4 interface.
What should I see hanging up but a Brooks B17 Special with copper rails, almost the exact model
* I was looking for - for £34.95 !!!! With my CTC discount taken off it came to a tad over £31!!
I've been looking for one of these and the cheapest I could find was £50, the RRP is £70.93!!
I love my lbs!!
I did say that if they had any more at that price I'd buy the lot, but it was the last one they had.
* I would have preferred the narrow version.
