Yes it is very worth it.
having an elderly lady cycling round a car park with tears streaming down her face because she felt in control of a bike for the first time in her life was very well worth it. Son had been trying to teach her for years!!
There is a very big benefit in that all thngs to do with cycling can be offset against tax. Even the best bike so long as it is used for a few lessons, level 3 around town, is offsetable.
I have not made a profit yet, so no tax paid, but loads of new stuff. The tax man accepts this as I am teaching part time, and therefore not dependant on profit to live.
