Cables

I don't think it has been discussed here, so...

I am looking for a recommendation for gear and brake cables (and housings) for my tandem.
To date, I have been lucky and not broken any cables, but did have a Clarks long cable as backup/spare.

The cable housings are now cracked and in need of some TLC being replaced.

I have had a rummage around the 'net and pondered over the Gore RideOn Cables.  Are they worth the (lots of) extra pennies over std cables?

Any other makes in tandem lengths ?

I've used the Gore Ride On cables on my single, and they do work well. You will need a good cutter for the outers. The best upgrade for cable brakes though is compressionless housing; especially useful on the rear brake to up the retardation levels.
