Guinea fowl are stupid.  And they have the heads of a much smaller bird grafted on.
The lady who taught my son French had about 50 off them. She was always trying to give us some. Mind you she did live on a farm so had room for them.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Quail have been on my birthday wish list for at least 10 years.
Unfortunately my landlord wont let me keep any livestock.

Livestock?  They're not livestock, they're Patagonian winged hamsters.  Pets, they are.  Want a cuddle? ;D

Pets, they are.

'Zactly.  Which means that you're not allowed to nom them when you come to visit.

(I have been having strange and disturbing dreams involving waking up one morning to find a camouflage-painted Mr Gates camped out in our back garden, hefting a machete and roasting a variety of winged creatures over a fire made from bits of our garden shed)

If you're Mike, does that make me Daisy?  Does that mean Julian's Twist or Marsha?

Actually, don't start me off.  I'll end up having dreams of my co-hab leaning out of the kitchen, clutching a bottle of vino collapso, crooning, "'ello petal..."

It has to be asked...

Charlotte, have you ever made a grown man quail? And if so, may I be that man?

I'm just off to Wiggle to buy a new coat.

Be careful if you visit Aunty C and Julian or it may end up like this:

I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Same as for chooks once they're up to speed.

Most of those were a present from the Mad Quail Man of Isleworth  :)

So far, we've thought up:

The brown one - Quail 1
The other brown one - Quail 2
The slightly less brown one - Quail 3

...but we're a bit stumped for the rest of them.  Any suggestions, Greg?

As they're small, fluffy and cute, at least one of them has to be called 'Julian'....  ;)
