Shame.

I remember Melody Maker as being the best of the bunch. The NME was the place for pseuds and was uniformly awful. Everyone who read it has probably turned into Morrissey by now.

Malady Mawker and Non Musical Excess were as bad as each other.  Sounds ("Handbuilt By Idiots") was the One True Music Weekly.
