EQ charts for different music genres

Can anyone recommend websites / apps (android) which have suggested EQ charts for various music genres / sub-genres / incl classical/ different instruments?  Really after the standard dB vs frequency chart '20Hz-20kHz' to manually input.  Asking as have a new speaker setup which allow good adjustment & custom EQ profiles via the app.  I've had a bit of a poke about online but not really found anything very useful / 'comprehensive'.

Seems to me that if we're getting prescriptive the EQ settings should be to compensate for your room and sequakers, and any genre-specific frequency biasing would be part of the recording.

Otherwise, just twiddle the knobs until you like what you hear.

Just after something to work with - charts to start off in the right direction - so not necessary a 'gold standard' to stick to, because as you say there are many variables into the mix.

You can compensate for the SE Quakers by emphasising Maggie Fell and the Cumbrian tradition.

PS.  I have already been twiddling away, was just wondering if there was some collectively discerned twiddle knowledge out there.

In addition to the subjective element of your ears the optimum settings will be impacted by your room: shape, size and how furnishings, wall etc. absorb and reflect different frequencies. Any starting optimal values will only be any good in the room they were set in.

Agreed.  Though there seem to be some 'ground rules' / most common frequency ranges /starter-charts to take punt with.
