I only got into them as a teenager in the 80s. My brother bought The Works in '84 and I was hooked. I spent many months trying to work out what that mad track they did years ago with the weird video was from my deepest childhood. It took a piss take on Radio 4s 'Radio-active' to reveal its title and from that moment I was *really* hooked. Bohemian Rhapsody was so memorable (apart the title apparently) that I remember it clearly as a 5 year old
I love Hot Space but it is an acquired taste for sure.
My love started to fade from the Miracle onwards personally. Pretty obvious it was all an epitaph from that moment on although they still had their moments.
