What are Scotland's chances? In reality I see 2026 as being our year.

No idea but there are only 13 qualifying places for UEFA which means it will be harder than ever to qualify. 10 group winners plus 3 winners from an extra qualifying round.

I feel 2022 will be the year of the Polynesian breakthrough. French Polynesia will lead the way.

Harder for a Euro team to qualify, but once they do easier for them to win it, as the opposition is either easier to beat than a Euro nation or Brazil.

Last time.
This time they have 9 points from 3 qualifying matches so far. Same as England and Armenia….

Do Armenia get to play Turkey? That might have a sort of water polo feel to it.....

Occasionally there will be football, yes. Otherwise it is mostly corruption and politics.

Before the World Cup, there's also the African Cup of Nations due to take place in January. And the ongoing Uefa Nations League.
It's relentless.

And of course Premier League teams returned to pre-season yesterday, and Football League teams returned last week and have already started playing friendlies!

Not forgetting Euro2022 next summer. England are host nation and Northern Ireland are Qualifiers.
