Some of the Havens Hospice Hares that have appeared. Also a very wet day so apologies for the droplets on the lens.

Any chance of shrinking those pics?  1920 x 1280 will only display as max 640px on the forum but still takes ages to download on a crappy connection.
Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.

I can't see a way to do that and my Mac doesn't have the necessary to do it.
I've left one up is that any better?

edit: left a link to the gallery.
I'll try not to link to images from imgur again.

edit:
Thanks to lissotriton I think it's done.

If you view each image on Imgur, it should let you pick what size you want, and it gives you the code to link to that size.
Or you can edit the filename - ie add s for a small thumbnail, or h for huge thumbnail.

Also I'd suggest using HTTPS links for the images, otherwise most browsers will block them. Not sure why some of the Imgur links are non HTTPS.

Three more hares around town. Properly sized for rogerzilla and his ISA 33kbit modem connection.  :P

I think there are 30ish hares and 50ish leverets to find.

ETA: changed links so you should see hares!

Alas, all the photos in the above post are black rectangles with “The image you are requesting does not exist or is no longer available”.  Hare today, gone tomorrow?

I don't understand that! I have refreshed the page and they still show here.
I'll redo the links...

How does that work for everyone?

I see hares onna mac using Safari.
On my Windows machine using Chrome, my experience is the same as that of Mr.L.

ETA The second set looks like hares and not black squares on the Windoze box.

Safari here and I also see them on Firefox. A Firefox that has previously not displayed YACF, the hare pictures, or imgur!

They are from the same mould as the ones they had in Norwich in 2018 - we took grandsons hare spotting and found 50ish.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...

I wondered if they were, as they look so similar.

It seems to be the year for statue trails, Maidstone has Elmer the elephants.

Three new hares and a closer one of the hare under the bridge (sans rough sleeper).

If you can't see them I'm James Stewart and these images are Harveys' cousins!  ::-)

There's a hare in my ice cream!

I think they drag it into the ice cream parlour because they don't want to bolt it down on their paving.

Two more hares Westcliff and Chalkwell.
That's it! No more hares about town, unless I stumble on more. I still haven't bagged any leverets...

I still haven't bagged any leverets...
And after running to and around five local schools this morning, four of which are listed as having leverets, I saw none. I suspect they may be inside so they can be kept an eye on so the kids don't climb on, deface, or otherwise damage, them.
