Storing Mac contacts list remotely
« on: 16 June, 2022, 07:18:23 pm »
Is there a way of doing this?
I have Time Machine as a backup.
But is there a way of putting all of my contacts onto a memstik - or even of printing them - I know I can save individual contacts as PDFs and print those off - but is there a way of easily doing that to all of my contacts?

File - Export - Contacts Archive?

Select all the contacts

'Print' and choose 'Lists' select the attributes you want, and print. To pdf if you want.

Or try Export as VCard - you can select all the contacts and do that. They get saved as a bulk VCard

I think it is harder to extract the details in a form like .csv (I used to do it with a FileMaker Pro plugin - but that was because I had FMP!)
It is simpler than it looks.

That's what you get when you import, on export you get to choose the file they go into.

Cheers, I've managed to print it to PDF.
