Went out for a ride today and we had 2 acts of kindness from 2 cafes.
The first called Cape Stores in Laleham, Staines. Surrey. A small wine shop specialising in South African wines and produce but also served coffee. We stopped there and the owner did not want to charge us for our drinks. In the end we left some money on the table when we left.
The second Destination Bike at the top of Box Hill. When we arrived it was closed with the assistant just about to get into his car to go home. He stopped and re-opened to serve the 4 of us with drinks. Not bad for a shop with a bike in the window for sale at £11,000
