Have got a full suspension off road bike
« on: 17 November, 2015, 01:54:01 pm »
Thanks to the cycle to work scheme, I have ended up with a second hand 2008 giant riegn.  Hydraulic disc brakes and 9 speed.

Just in time for muddy off roading ;)

Maybe time to reduce the fleet significantly...

Nice! That's an Enduro style bike, IIRC?

You could go off roading, or you do what I did and stick some Big Apples on it and enjoy the sublime experience of a full susser on the roads.

What is it like?

Think that this needs a service as it has lived outside and needs work.

Why do people buy nice bikes and treat them badly ?

As a metaphore for my life, the bike still is in bits and not been ridden nor serviced.
