Post by: ramchip on 05 August, 2019, 10:00:41 pm
Is there a webpage somewhere which gives the percentage of finishers for each event?

http://www.randonneurs.bc.ca/pbp/historical-stats_table.html has the DNF rates for all PBP races and all PBPs Randonneur but also all PBPs Audax (somewhat lower DNF rates).

But why does it matter? '1 in 7 DNF in a good year, 2 in 7 in a bad year' is close enough.

In 2007 it was around 30%, I think - 1536 is a figure that sticks in mind.*  It's funny, I didn't think the weather was all that bad - rather fun, in fact.

2007 was the "worst weather in 50 years"
