We suspect Mike Sheldrake might have a shoulder problem, but we haven't seen him for a while.

More info on some scattered through the YACF Riders thread.

Gordon P and Andy Uttley packed; Julian and Steve reported to have packed, Andy C reported to have finished but to have perhaps missed the timing gate at Rambouillet

Going through the timing gate meant more cobbles and COR. Exactly what you need after 1220 km in the saddle.
Added to that the finish was a bit chaotic and there weren't any marshals.

Simon and Yvonne King had to pack after Tintineac.
Simon had a knee problem that meant he could hardly turn the pedals.
Yvonne chose not to continue and stayed with him.

Andy uttley packed due to illness.
Although he did go a decent number of controls after I was told this!

Julian had Achilles problems so packed with Steve at Tinteniac on the way out (I think, the one with the food upstairs...)

He texted me, he got just beyond Quedillac before turning and packing.

I hadn't spotted my own name on Andy's list!

Yeah, too unfit, too slow. Got to Quedillac, had a good feed and a bit of a nap, but it was obvious when I set off that I was still too tired to do anything other than struggle. So I made sure I'd done 400km outwards, then turned and rode back.

Good to have a different, very leisurely look at the controls - but slightly shaming to, despite having had a couple of good nights' sleep, still be passed at speed by groups who had started 10 hours later and ridden 400km more than I had.

There were several jars of pickles at the finish gate. Apparently, if the timing chip didn't cause a 'beep' it could be dipped in vinegar to make it work. That's what Julian told me anyway.
