Hello all
Quiet roads, sunshine (most of the time), cheap wine, ruined castles, great cakes, wonderful beaches...
If anyone is interested in guided tours in Portugal I've just published an updated schedule of trips planned for the second half of this year and the first half of 2017.
There's one new route - the Coastal Explorer runs from Setubal just south of Lisbon and ends up at Lagos in the Algarve. This is another winter 'escape', with tours taking place in November and February. Otherwise there are a couple of Alentejo options, the Algarve Winter Tour, the Northern Frontier (as it sounds!) and the Eastern Explorer, which runs down the border with Spain.
