Which free image posting?
« on: 18 January, 2014, 06:04:42 pm »
I have been using Image Shack for several years and have been very pleased with the service. However later this year Image Shack will become a payservice. Since I only use a hosting service for posting the odd pic on a couple of forums I don't want to have - and can't justify having - to pay for something that might have amounted to a dozen photos in 4 or 5 years.
What hosting services do others use for a very occasional photo posting duty? I am not talking about uploading complete albums of hundreds of photos like people seem to on Flickr and I don't have a Facebook account (and wouldn't want to live with the lack of security involved in putting up photos for publin consumption).
Any ideas welcome.
Cheers Jo

I've only once or twice posted images - and have used http://imgur.com/ . No registration hassles.

For ease of use I don't think you can get much easier than Dropbox's public folders (if you're already a Dropbox user).

Otherwise, Imgur.

Photobucket or Imgur. That's great.

Thank you all for the tips.
