Best Western car park, Twin Falls, Idaho.  It was parked thus when I arrived last night and was still there when I left this morning.  The "air vents" are stuck-on plastic, the "Turbo" badge probably indicate the owner's preferred aftershave and the competition seats are just plain stupid in a car which I know from bitter experience handles like a bag of poo.

Ford GT occupying two spaces outside the Super 8, Battle Mountain.  A fud on so many levels.

Extending the row by parking on the end. But the rest of the car park is mostly empty.

I often see creative parking like that at my local big Te5co.  What a surprise - the 'new' spots are all close to the entrance.  ::-)

I got blocked in a while ago by someone adding a space to the end of a row which was the space I needed to use to get out of the perpendicular space.

However, today we seemed to have a fuds convention at work.
Gardener's truck parked on cross-hatched area. (They had their stuff out and were working.)
Big truck with crane almost blocking the one-way-at-a-time narrowing.
Lorry trying out its tail lift, well away from anywhere sensible to get stuff out, on double yellows, on a hill.
Car parked a bit further down, still on double yellows, nowhere near a place you might drop off / pick up from, reading a book.
Car planning to parallel park on the other side, slowing but not indicating.

Perhaps it was snowing in Russia when they parked, and then it melted?

Signs went up warning of line painting.  This was just one of four who got ticketed.

You'll be pleased to hear that the lines are now completed.

I've often wanted to paint lines over parked cars, usually the ones blocking the pavement.

We have the opposite of that on our road: where signs didn't go up warning of line painting, so they painted around the parked cars (including mine) in several iterations.  Then they resurfaced and repainted the whole road, but didn't overlap the closures properly at the end.  With the result that there's room for two legal-due-to-lack-of-lines fud-parking spaces on either side of our road at the junction with the main road.  These coincide with a 10 metre stretch of the old, deteriorating, road surface - which is absolutely fantastic if you're turning off the main road on a bike.

Meet Range Rover Wanker - he likes to park in the disabled bay because he's too fucking lazy to walk an extra few feet from a non-disabled spot.

This left me lost for words - not easy.

*BANG*

I peer out of my window to see a blinged-up new Mini halfway through a parking manoeuvre.

Driver, in full sloane gear, has got out and is inspecting the rear bumper.  "No, it's fine." she announces to similarly attired passenger.  Without so much as a glance at the bumper of the car she's reversed into, she gets back in and repeats the manoeuvre, slowly and more cautiously.  When the bumpers again make contact, she takes her cue to rotate the wheel and drive off.

Bloodystudents.

^Driving like the French! Or maybe further afield - there's an island called Tanna in Vanuatu where one of the locals was quoted as saying "We drive by Braille".

Yebbut unless that ticket is for something else, those lines aren't legal because they're not properly "terminated".

And I don't think it even needs translating.  :)

This one deserves special mention. Must have done a Dukes of Hazard-style exit through the windows.

The ticket was for parking on the street when it was suspended for painting the lines.

One from Saturday. I was just about to drive off when this driver swung round in one arc and plonked his car over 2 bays. I assumed they would then pull out and straighten up - but instead he and two other occupants just got out of the car and walked off.

My Driver is much closer to parking dead centre on white line, does that make them better or worse?
