Spring time

I have managed to previously go out at the weekend with fingerless gloves on and go a reasonable distance but this weekend seems to be the first "Spring like" one
The clocks have changed
There are lots of people out on bikes on the road
Snow is still there but in greying lumps next to the road at high points
The sun was out at least some of the time

I heard skylarks for the first time yesterday - that's my indicator for Spring.

Sunshine approaching from the South.
First time in 1,000 years.

Its supposed to be spring here, but no one has told the weather. Cold and wet, its been raining since I got up this morning and there are five flood warnings in place.
