This hilarious reply perhaps justifies twitter all on its own:

Put handicap parking in close to the entrance. But cycle parking, regardless of whether you’re handicapped or not, is through a tunnel in narnia.

The motorbike community calls car dependistas 'cagers' and I think it's very apt indeed. Caged people, trapped in cages of steel, with their minds in a cage of their own, broiling with nastiness and rage.

It is entirely normal to drive around accompanied by an empty armchair and a sofa, but riding a single-seater is thought to be selfish.

Larger cars equate to an empty armchair, a sofa, and a sizeable toolshed. Yet riding a cargobike or trailer bike is seen as wildly eccentric.

Haha, well observed, and in the case of my local gym, have no cycle parking at all!!!

"Cycling on the pavement is reckless, paint a white line on it and it becomes mandatory"

Love it.

That term was very common on here - and on ACF beforehand - but I've not seen it for ages.
