hummers audax rider missing

 hummers went out on the whitchurch 100km this morning but failed to finish!!
 if you find him please phone the police or local mental home who will know what to do.
 please do not approach or offer him beer!!

Panic not!

Hummers and his carer rolled into the finish control just as I was locking up.

He was off to see Matron and looking rather sheepish. I wonder if she'll let him out on Wednesday...

That's the prolem with 100s with pub controls - it's very easy to convince yourself it's a very easy ride with loads of time, therefore the fifth and sixth pints at the 50Km point are nay bother.  (Says he from bitter experience (and I choose my words carefully) on the Tasty Cheddar a few years ago! :-)

Thank you all for your kind words of support, help, interest and tenderness exhibited in this thread.

I will consider them deeply and pass them onto my brother whom I was escorting around his very first (yet possibly) last Audax experience.
