I think my work's quiz whammageddoned people too. Not sure the organisers even knew what whamageddon was!

Bless, or something.

I don't play. I'm deaf. I wouldn't know it if I heard it!

You should play.  You'd win every year!

There is only one way to be absolutely safe and secure, and that is to wear one of THESE
Ooft, nearly thankfully tinternet is shit and slow so the picture appeared before the noise started and a hasty retreat was made.

Also survived Glenrotten Morissons yesterday as the house keys were at the estate agents based there.
That's not just to do with whamageddon though

Blast. I even set it to start at 50 seconds in for full exposure.

Back to the drawing board...

I'm still in. There again, I don't go out or watch TV, and R4 is on all day.

Feeling pretty safe at the moment.
I don't even listen to radio 4. Today is risky though, tree shopping.

Spare a thought for those of us at substantial risk of being Whammed by unrecognised Christmas music leaking from barakta's hearing aid.  I've been Rickrolled that way on several occasions.

I’m out.

Fucking Morrisons.
Same. Nothing subtle about it either: I slammed into a wall of Wham! They were playing it at volume outside. If only I’d turned a different corner...

I had a scary moment in Epsom town centre this morning where we had to wait to allow a straggler to catch up.

They had a market running, including one stall blaring out Xmas choonz.

I survived.

I did so well and then they started playing music at my son's school at drop-off time.  Whammed three days in a row Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.  Next year I'll be wearing ear defenders!

I didn't even make double figures this year - 9th December - the show host (Grant Stott Radio Scotland) did apologise for those who were Whamageddoned.

I ent planning on leaving Larrington Towers before Xmo, so unless it gets broadcast by some oblivious twerp during the news, a right-on cleric slips it into the Nine Lessons And Carols or the Mega-Global Fruit Corporation of Cupertino, USAnia lays it in my iTunes library like they did with U-fucking-2 that time, I should be safe.

Strewth !!   Got to be careful.  I've got the Everton v Man Utd commentary on in the background, and it's half time. And they're playing Xmas choonz.

I'm still in. I even tried to take myself out by listening to Apple's Christmas Essentials playlist while wrapping presents that no-one's going to get till June 2022, but it never appeared.

I’m still in, but as I don’t listen to the radio or Spotify, and German supermarkets don’t play music, I was reasonably confident.
