I used to do it. It's a bit like picking a scab. How deep should you go. I think I'd fall in that rabbit hole for days.

ETA 2. he didn't scrub it first. Wtf. Straight in with an angle grinder. I used to hose the foot off, get in there with a scrubbing brush, and then all hand tools. Clearly that's soooo last century.
