Guaranteed places for volunteers

A very basic question but surely others on the forum will be interested:

Since we were volunteers in 2022, we received a message recently offering a guaranteed  place for 2025.
If we do not want to ride in 2025, is it possible to offer one of our guaranteed places to someone else?

I'm sure that wouldn't be in the spirit of the offer, Alain, so I certainly hope not. Besides, Felicien will have his own place

Peter, you might be able to persuade Felicien to ride the next LEL, if you promise him a ride in your car after he finish!

A, I'm very sorry but you cannot transfer your guaranteed place. But as you are a long standing rider and volunteer at the event, I will do what I can to ensure your friends are able to ride.

Thank you Alwyn for your answer, that makes things very clear. You will certainly see us in 2025, but not on the tandem!
