Just a quick note to recommend this, I've entered. Done the perm a few times - super route. Edenbridge for a 10am start is easy to get to by train, and the route includes Ide Hill, Toys Hill and Gills Lap - now, these are hills but to be honest they are not particularly long. A route that crosses the Ashdown Forest a couple of times can't be bad. And unless I am mistaken, this is on Easter Monday and what else are you going to do?

I should also mention that the tarmac has recently been replaced from Gills Lap heading north so this is a fantastic swoopy
descent of the sort you only dream about most of the year. And if it's uphill then you can just plug away - it's a fairly gentle angle.
