It used to be extra work (copying information such as club affiliations from the backs of brevet cards into written results sheets and thence again into the records) but that was when there was much less audax activity in total, so it was just about bearable.
These days it's no work at all, except in the case of non-members who ride BRM events and enter by post, then the org has a bit of extra typing to do. Occasionally there can be some reconciliation of club names to do - for example if a non-member has entered using 'Wobbly CC' and another has entered (maybe a different event) using 'CC Wobbly' then a decision has to be made, which of these is correct and one or other record altered to match - but even this is mostly an automated process.
