TRAT at the Earl's Court cycle show
« on: 12 October, 2008, 09:48:02 pm »
Just back today from Earl's Court, where Liz and I had been manning the TRAT stand with Tammy, our tireless Race Organiser.

She took along ten sheets of paper, with room for ten people who were serious about riding on TRAT to write their contact details on, so we could follow up the show with some more information about the ride.  By the end of today, the sheets were overflowing with names, scribbled everywhere there was white space.  We've given out hudreds of leaflets and even more fridge magnet pens.  It was quite a show.

At the moment, we think that we've got at least half of the fourteen available rider places available for 2009 filled with firm committments.

All in all, it was a great show and we made some brilliant contacts.  Let's hope that all those names and addresses give us the last few riders we need.  My feeling is that we're going to need to be running a waiting list for the first time next year!
