Gridiron 2010
« on: 02 October, 2010, 11:43:37 pm »
Anyone else riding this?  I'm giving my balloon tyres a trial by cattlegrid, and fully expect to float away on the fords...
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

I will be there on an orange Cannondale tandem (not by myself of course!).

Not this year. For my sins I shall be doing a time trial; God alone knows why....

Because all those grids and fords are even less comfy than riding lungs-out?  ;)

Good luck Julia - I tried a 10 twice a couple of years ago (never again) - PM me how you get on please?

I'm entered, but as of this morning it's looking more likely I'll be at work than in the New Forest. :( Had already sorted out my GPS DIY 200 to & from home as well.

How was an August and September of indulgence then?

Hmmmm?

Gratifying.

Double portions and beer are much more satifying investments when you're saving those calories for the future rather than burning them off immedately. O:-)

But all good things must come to an end, and if I can't make this I'll probably emerge from hibernation on the Upper Thames 200 in November. PBP won't ride itself.
