What would you like me to sing?

Welcome to the jungle.

Seeing Wowbagger scream "You know where you are? You're in the jungle, baby!" would make my life complete....

We're gonna need you bobbers!

It doesn’t matter where you start. Just start.

Is it too late to get an order in for Epiphany lunch

Eb major

Well Googled  :P

Of course, all the guitar parts are played as in E, but they're detuned a semitone. Time to detune my uke \m/
Those wonderful norks are never far from my thoughts, oh yeah!

OK, do you have a full score? With bassoon part?

Oh, I see! "Welcome to the Jungle" is the name of a song. I thought it was bobb being sociable.

I am listening to it as I type.

I think I would need to do it an octave lower than written.

This event was discussed after the velodrome yesterday evening.  I don't want to give away too many secrets just yet but anyone who was listening in and is now consumed with anxiety please be assured that a WIFE CARRYING contest won't feature in the programme of events - there are a number of reasons for this decision.  And if at some point in the future we do decide to give wife carrying a go we certainly won't be including a water feature, drowning your spouse is probably ill advised (watch the video  :o  )

What about Husband carrying?

(Or have they been doing that for years?)

People carry people may have to wait until another year.  I think I a sufficiency of ideas for 2018.

An update...

Firstly, I have just tried to book the Thatcher's Arms for lunch but they're not there, I shall try again tomorrow.

Secondly, The Compasses, Littley Green is booked from 1800hrs onwards for dinner and more drinkies!  I have booked the Green Room.

Thirdly, I have also booked 3 of their sumptuous rooms (c£80 per night B&B) but atleast one might be surplus to requirements.  Anyone, or anyone's WAG, want it?

Fourthly, I have also booked camping.  Caravans and campervans will be tolerated but expect eye rolling  ;D

Lastly, there may not be a musical element this year, oddly I am experiencing problems recruiting a band.  But fear not I have a surprise element for you  :demon:

At some point I will be asking for numbers so please ensure Saturday 6th January is blocked out in your 2018 diary.

Thanking you.

It would be essential viewing and potential blackmail material to see and record Mr Wowbagger falling into Thatcher's Arms

Yes, yes, yes, I know, we're all consumed by the run up to Christmas and probably don't have the mental bandwidth to consider much else but if I could crave your attention for just a few moments I'd be grateful.

Hello people, how are you?

I am using this portion of the festive period to put more flesh on the Epiphany bones.

So far I have received lunch choices from me, Tomsk, psyclist, Oaky and Christophe.  Is that it???

I have also knocked up these route suggestions.  Leg 1 from Witham 'spoons to the Thatcher's Arms and Leg 2 to The Compasses.

I would suggest we aim to set off from the 'spoons at about 10am.  Thoughts and feedback?

Where's the apple crumble & custard on the menu?  I can't see it.

I will have to let you know pretty last minute but I am sure they will be able to squeeze another one in.

Thanks OD for the further details.

I have a question regarding the route. Does it stay on tarmac? I have no aversion to deviating, but given my getting stuck last year with mud wedged between tyre and mudguard, I might fettle the mudguard somewhat if similar is to be encountered this year.
