Just back from a Hogmanay break in darkest Dumfries & Galloway - we spent New Years Day introducing ourselves to the red route at Dalbeattie. Most excellent it was too ! Seemed a lot more technical than the red route we're used to at Glentress. Suffice to say we bypassed the black sections - the Slab in particular !
