TheSpec - Peeling around in the Bananamobile

I would like, at some point in my life, to own a fully faired recumbent, but this one doesn't quite do it for me.

Coolest fairing (but by no means the lightest) I've heard of was reported in an early edition of Velovision, and was made from the auxiliary wing fuel tank pod of a MiG.

Photo of a certain YACFer on something similar -

If I recall correctly, he called the bike 'Pink Fairy' on the basis that:

  • It was pink
  • it had a fairing
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...

And also because he likes the Pink Fairies.  Bizarrely, it was stolen when pikeys robbed my Sheds, along with a soldering iron and a power drill.
