Title: Superstitions?
Post by: fred the great on 17 September, 2009, 06:42:07 am
I guess there must be some rather funny and strange superstitions around the World?

I am not really superstitious but living in Asia has convinced me that most Far Eastern people are including the Chinese especially.

One amusing one that I can recount came  from my Japanese General Manager. He said "Jerams san, you already know that we Japanese people follow Shintoism which is way of life and not a religion, but did you know that when we die we always have a Buddhist burial just in case we have got it wrong!"

Any more?
