By the time he completes the year, it will just about have broken in.

I think it was HTFB who once said to me that after a couple of thousand miles of riding with it, a Brooks saddle moulds one's backside to its shape.

Wonder if they'll give him a free jacket.

a Brooks jacket  ???  Probably a free saddle, I reckon. I didn't know Brooks was making cycling jackets!

I wouldn't be surprised if they made a cycling tie cravat.

Just checked up on Steve's trajectory for the day. That Brum-evasion manoeuvre is impressive, reminiscent of a WW1 dogfight.

Praise the Ludd!

(But I'd want a full-length zip.)

Will be keeping a close eye on the tracker later, as usually go out in the lanes south of Ashby on a Tuesday night anyway so might try and do a bit of Teethgrinder hunting while I'm out  ;D

Looks like he's staying in the lanes to the south of Ashby, maybe I'll see him tonight

He did well to avoid the southern parts today. Driving from Swindon to Worcester there were some tremendous downpours but very localised. The fine folks at Brooks would have stayed dry.

Round and round and round we go.

Good loopage from Steve atm.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

Yikes. A quick detour west to Ibstock and my sister could look after him for the night ;D

Not sure he'd survive the experience though.

Tracker has him at 171 miles atm. It's a long way back from there so a good tally is on the cards!

I don't think he's going back to MK tonight.  I think he's being hosted somewhere near the loopage.

ETA.  Ashby de la wosname.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

Ashby according to the calendar. I do hope he makes it past Packing town

The trackers generally don't cope all that well with tiny loops, so we'll have to wait for strava to have any idea how far he's been today.

Looks like he's heading for his stop now.  Another very long day at his office.

Looks like weather relief soon on its way, as of Friday markedly milder and less windy; it was indeed quite bitter at time yesterday, even snow flurries here.
