Go Steve.  Hope the sunny weather helps and the steady breeze turns to follow you.

If it's anything like down in Surrey, this is a great little window of high pressure weather for mucking about on a bike.  Blue skies, still trees and clear views.  There are some days when I envy Steve, as I sit down to a day of office grind.  This would be one of them, if it were not for the fact that I'd be on a treadmill that kept me cycling a very very long way and would return to bed after 15 hours feeling like someone had taken to my body with a mallet.

Has anyone been watching the tracker?  The Google route is showing a huge Crazy Ivan for 64 miles after 2:05 on the road, I know Steve is good but that seems unbelievable.  The spot track of 29 miles is much more typical for that moving time.

Hopefully a good mileage day Steve.  He has now covered some 10,567 miles on the new attempt in just 52 days which averages some 203.2  I reckon he should get that up to the miniumum average of not less than the 206 per day he ought to have within some 17 days. Ovbiously come the winter when over 200 mls will seldom happen he needs to stack the miles in now!. Well done Steve and keep going strongly.

I think the IvanScience is having a bad day.  The Google route has changed since my earlier comment and the mileage is still high.  The SPOT track looks right but seems to be under reading, 67 miles after 5:33 is low.  The SPOT Tracker page estimates 80 miles which is bang on typical distance for the duration.

Looking good for today in what has been a very pleasant early autumn day with little wind and pleasant temperatures. Should be another 200+ when finished.

Keep this rhythm up, Steve.
