[HAMR] 6th December TG Day 121/340
« on: 06 December, 2015, 11:36:04 am »
Might as well start a thread.  He's still at Acle.

Tweet from Steve 15 minutes ago saying he'd had a lie-in so he can ride into the night as the wind drops.

Steve's no mug.  Winds dropping at CET towers now, was very blustery earlier on

Steve's no mug.

So much of this challenge is supra tentorial, you really need to use your noggin to do well.

Allez Steve.

Just back from a quick ride.  I'd say the wind has reduced to more normal levels, though probably still quite blowy in the flatlands.

Very rare conditions out there for December - it's really mild, and there's not much wind now. Steve could do worse than just keep riding all night.

Ivanometer is showing 107 miles which means, according to Steve's tweet this morning, he has exceeded last weeks total.
Chapeau! Steve.

Somewhat repeating drgannet in the 5th thread the most direct route home would be about 51 miles.  I'm hoping he can put another 20 of wiggles on that while it's mild and then he's averaged a Godwin a day this weekend.
Go Steve!

St Ives M&S for the past 50 minutes. An early snooze perhaps? Hope all is well?

158 miles logged on Strava at midnight, but that finished well short of MK.

As his start is from MK today I assume he did get home.
